Launched for the first time in 2009, the prestigious « +J » collection from the Japanese brand UNIQLO and the German house Jil Sander AG is resurfacing for the beautiful days of 2021. After a surprise return in Autumn/Winter 2020, a new part of this luxurious and affordable collaboration has been developed by the two partners. New classic pieces enhanced by the minimalist signature of designer Jil Sander, are offered.
This capsule is inspired by the joyful energy and lightness of spring, counterbalancing the current gloom caused by the global health crisis.
Jil Sander explained, « The pandemic has added urgency to the project. Just great clothes can, I think, encourage us all to prepare for a fresh start. For me, « +J » is like a little gift that I can contribute to. »
In keeping with previous aspects of this collaboration, this capsule for men and women consists of « sophisticated and versatile essentials » in a minimalist style and at affordable prices.
It includes a wide range of garments, from silk blend parka to long-sleeved cotton t-shirt, tapered pants, Mao collar shirts and pleated blouse dresses. We also discover polo shirts, overzive jackets, hooded coats, safari jackets, jeans, linen blend pants, wallet skirts, sweaters and sweats. In short, enough to satisfy all lovers of beautiful cuts and clean style.
The color palette refers to the changing hues of the Northern Lights. Items can be dressed in charcoal grey, midnight blue, white, off-white pink, light purple, deep khaki green or black.
