During this year 2021, the emblematic shop UNION LA proposed us several collaborations to celebrate its 30 years of existence (several articles available on this site). To close its celebrations in beauty, Chris Gibbs’ brand offers us a collection designed with another legendary brand in streetwear : BAPE.
This collaborative collection is rooted in the history of streetwear and symbolizes the respect between the 2 brands.
It’s based on classic streetwear pieces : hoodie, t-shirt and fleece pants. These clothes are available in black, white or light grey and are adorned with the co-branding, including the Union’s Frontman logo in orange and the APE HEAD of BAPE in camo or green. To affirm the collab, the UNION branding incorporates the famous BAPE monkey head in place of its letter O. The number 30 representing the anniversary of the Los Angeles shop is also found on some of these collaborative pieces.
The UNION LA x BAPE « 30th Anniversary » collection will be released on December 30, 2021 at 8am PST online at store.unionlosangeles.com and bape.com, and 11am in stores. Don’t sleep and good luck !
