Unveiled by surprise last month during the Air Max Day, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 « Cactus Jack » (article available HERE), will finally be declined in 5 colorways. It’s the reputable account @py_rates that has just dropped this big information that will delight all sneakerheads.
These versions seem to follow the usual earthy aesthetic of Travis Scott.
The first iteration presented on March 26, 2021 is dressed in Baroque Brown, Lemon Yellow, Wheat and Chili Red. The 2nd is an Off Black version with Pearl Grey and Sage Green. The 3rd one adopts a color palette of Wheat/Lemon Yellow/Baroque Brown and Chili Red. The 4th iteration appears in two shades of grey : Haze and Light Silver with an addition of Celadon Green. The latest version combines 3 shades of yellow, Saturn Gold, Tea Tree Mist and Tent.
The sneakers consist of a breathable mesh upper with leather side panels and suede overlays. According to the mock-ups, all colorways are adorned with a metallic silver Travis signature reverse Swoosh and two-tone hiking laces. The heel tabs are adorned with a Cactus Jack flag logo and the tongues are embellished with the new CJ sigil. To complete the design, the sole appears color matched to the adjacent low top overlay that wraps around the foot.
