Iconic outdoor brand THE NORTH FACE (TNF) continues its rise in streetwear with exclusive collabs and reworked products. After teaming up with New York-based label SUPREME last month, the San Francisco-based brand is reinventing its TNF X collection.
The new release is a fresh interpretation of iconic archival pieces. The TNF X collection is inspired by the eponymous skiwear collection released in 1992. It consists of retro-looking garments that combine innovative protective technology.
While paying homage to the ski resort boom of the 90’s, this capsule is aimed at the summer season with items reimagined for comfort, lightness and a contemporary color palette of Taupe, Navy, Purple, Pink, Off-White, Black.
It includes long or short Coordinates T-shirts, shorts, 92 retro caps and a reworked TFN X jacket that appears as the centerpiece. Waterproof, stylish and comfortable, the jacket features a relaxed fit, hidden pockets and iconic The North Face logos.
To finalize the outfit, a sneaker model is included in the collection: the VECTIV™ TARAVAL TECH. Available in 2 colors Purple or Sandstone, this silhouette was created for both the city and the steep trails. It combines comfort, support and durability. It features a protective and waterproof upper, a quick lacing system and a lightweight and grippy outsole.
The TNF X collection is now available at select retailers, in stores and online at thenorthface.com. Prices at set between 40€ to 160€.
