In addition to recent collabs with Japanese shop ATMOS and designer Jeff Staple (articles available on this site), the iconic brand PUMA stays on the news by presenting a collection « The Batman ».
This new release is designed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Comics to celebrate the imminent and highly anticipated release of « The Batman » movie.
Several PUMA branded silhouettes have been reinterpreted to pay homage to the characters in the film and the dark world of Batman in Gotham City.
This capsule collection includes the classic Suede, a Fierce 2 inspired by Catwoman (Selina Kyle in the upcoming film), an RS-X, a Mayze, 2 versions of the Court Rider « Batman » and « Catwoman », as well as FUTURE Z and ULTRA soccer shoes. All these pieces are mostly dressed in black, honoring the atmosphere of the movie. Some of the pieces have red details or gradients and others have purple accents. The main piece is certainly the black and red Puma Suede with the famous « bat » pattern on the back of the foot and a black to red gradient sole.
This footwear collection will be accompanied by matching textile pieces such as hoodies, t-shirts, tracksuits, shorts and headwear.
The Batman x PUMA collection will be released on February 26, 2022 at select retailers and on puma.com. Available for the entire family, prices range from 22$ to 220$.
