The famous British retailer END. has partnered for the first time with the legendary outdoor sports and leisure clothing brand COLUMBIA to offer us a vast textile collection named « Lakeside ». This collaboration with autumnal shades and vintage patterns consists of 17 different quality pieces.
For this first joint project, END. immersed itself in Columbia’s archives to re-imagine emblematic silhouettes with patterns from the 70s and 80s, paying tribute to the history of the leading American brand. The color palette is inspired by the natural spaces of both partners : the earth and flora of northern England for END. and northwest Portland for Columbia. We thus find brown, khaki, beige, dark blue color and geometric plaid-style prints mixing deep orange and beige. These clothes are adorned with a design that is both authentic and refined.
We find famous pieces from Columbia such as the Monashee and Santa Ana anoraks, as well as the Powder Keg Fleece chimney-neck sweater.
The flagship item of this collection is the Powder Keg IC parka, an authentic 4-in-1 interchangeable parka featuring a waterproof nylon jacket with a reversible Sherpa print lining. It features Omni-Tech technology, with inside zippered pockets, zippered hand and chest pockets, adjustable wrist tightening and a 3 point exchange system zipper. This collection is complemented by practical, comfortable and resistant pants, as well as solid color t-shirts with double brandings embroidered on the middle chest. Both partners also designed matching and functional accessories such as caps, socks, a waistbag and snoods.
The Textile Collection END. x Columbia « Lakeside » will be release online on October 31, 2020 via launches.endclothing.com. Be ready and good luck !
