The famous New York brand SUPREME is preparing us to face winter with a nice series of collaborations. After recently teaming up with Japanese label WTAPS (article available HERE), James Jebbia and his team have worked with long-time partner The North Face for an exclusive capsule collection.
This new collaborative opus is centered around a bleached denim print, which gives a « faded » or « stained » impression. For a cozy and stylish winter, SUPREME and The North Face offer us 3 revisited flagship jackets and a matching pant : the Nuptse Jacket, Fleece Jacket and Mountain Jacket, as well as the Mountain Pant. These pieces are presented in shades of denim blue or brown.
To complete the outfit, this capsule includes headwear such as a Nuptse Trooper and a 6 panel cap. We also find a 700-Fill Down Scarf and 3 kinds of bags : the Roo II, Shoulder Bag and Pocono Bag. The icing on the cake, the 2 partners have also designed a matching sleeping bag.
Thanks to the materials used : DryVent bonded nylon, 600D poly or 840D ballistic nylon for example, all these items are water resistant and provide excellent warmth, while being breathable. To affirm the collab, the iconic SUPREME and The North Face patches are sewn onto the right sleeve of the jackets and the right leg of the pants. They also appear on all accessories.
The SUPREME x The North Face collection will be released worldwide on December 16, 2021 at 11am EDT in the US, online at supremenewyork.com and in SUPREME shops in New York, London, Los Angeles and Paris. It will arrive 2 days later, on December 18 in Japan. Don’t sleep !
