The famous New York streetwear brand SUPREME unveils a new collaboration for its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. After teaming up with THE NORTH FACE (article available HERE), James Jebbia’s label turns to the world of fashion and joins forces with Italian fashion house Emilio PUCCI for an exclusive kaleidoscopic capsule collection.
The collection pays tribute to Italian fashion designer and politician Don Emilio Pucci, who passed away in 1992. Known as the « Prince of Prints », he made fashion history with his pop prints, flashy colors and graphic patterns that inspired the trends of the 1960s. Emilio Pucci had a knack for translating his signature sensibility into elegant pieces made from comfortable textiles creating innovative flowing shapes.
The collaborative capsule features archival prints from PUCCI’s Fantasia 1970 and Tulipani 1965 collections.
Mixing the worlds of the 2 partners, this offer includes a kimono-style smoking jacket, a short-sleeved and a long-sleeved shirt, a tracksuit jacket and its pants, a soccer shirt and shorts, as well as a hoodie and short-sleeved t-shirts. Some pieces feature paired logos. The collection is complemented by a range of accessories including a 6-panel cap, belt, sunglasses and lighter.
The SUPREME X Emilio Pucci collection will be released on June 10, 2021 at 11am EDT on the New York-based brand’s website supremenewyork.com.
