Jeff STAPLE is used to attractive collaborations. After offering us a special version of the legendary Puma Suede earlier this year, the New York designer unveils a collaboration with DEAL, a Chinese sneakershop, and REEBOK.
The capsule includes 2 iconic pairs, which are Jeff Staple’s favorites : the Instapump Fury and the Club C Revenge.
These sneakers feature a look that references New York City and its famous pigeons, the logo of the streetwear brand.
The Instapump Fury consists of a grey mesh base, complemented by black and white nubuck overlays and grey suede overlays, which highlight the multi-layered aesthetic of this iteration. To affirm the collab, the Reebok logo is embroidered on the tongue, DEAL branding details stand out on the insole and heel pull, and the Pigeon STAPLE logo appears in pink on the inflator button and embroidered on the heel. The whole is based on a sole that features the 3 main colors of the upper : white, pink and grey.
The Club C Revenge features a grey suede upper with matching overlays. This base is complemented by black elements that provide inspiration, including the side stripes, lace-up area and heel tab in faux hair, as well as the terrycloth inner lining. The black and pink graphic insole is adorned with DEAL branding, the Pigeon logo appears on the tongue tag and quarter panel paired with classic REEBOK branding. Also, the DEAL logo adorns the side heel, below Staple’s embroidered Pigeon on the heel tab. To harmoniously finalize the design, the tongue, laces and sole are dressed in black.
The STAPLE x DEAL x Reebok collection was released exclusively a few days ago on the website of the New York streetwear brand staplepigeon.com. It will be available on August 20, 2022 in the DEAL store and online at reebok.com. Prices are set at $220 for the Instapump Fury and $130 for the Club C Revenge. Don’t sleep !
