Long time partners, the Californian brand Vault by Vans and the shop SNS (Sneakersnstuff) unveil a new common project. After the « Venice Beach » pack released last year (article available HERE), California is again honored with this « Venice Authentics » collection.
This collaboration pays tribute to the long history of Vans in California. This brand has shaped the DNA of California footwear since its launch in 1966.
SNS delved into the iconic label’s archives to pull out an early 90’s print honoring California’s beaches. Reshaped to highlight the 7 SNS store locations around the world, this black and white graffiti-style print appears on the OG Authentic LX silhouette.
This collaborative sneaker features a traditional canvas base covered in this exclusive print. To accentuate the design and assert the collab, the SNS branding is repeatedly applied to the sidewall of the white vulcanized midsole. The whole is based on the iconic Waffle rubber outsole.
To accompany this shoe, 2 pieces of clothing are offered. A white premium cotton t-shirt with the revamped SNS logo on the chest and a larger matching illustration on the back. A plain off-white linen pant will also be available.
The SNS x Vault by Vans « Venice Authentics » collection will be released on August 18, 2021, exclusively via the SNS app. Registration for the raffle is now open. Prices are set at 89€ for the sneaker, 39€ for the t-shirt and 149€ for the pants. Don’t sleep !
