The famous Swedish retailer SNEAKERSNSTUFF presents a new collection designed in collaboration with the English brand Reebok. Honoring the British manufacturer’s rich heritage, this unisex capsule called « Walking » is inspired by the outdoor trend of the early 90s.
The pieces in this collection are adorned in understated, elegant and timeless colors, making reference to the great outdoors and outdoor activities.
The key item is the duo of sneakers made of high-end materials. We discover :
A Classic Leather, which consists of an all beige suede upper with a tongue and matching laces. Bright brown accents and co-branding on the heel and tongue label complete the design. The finishing touch is provided by a comfortable off-white EVA midsole, coupled with a black outsole in high-abrasion rubber.
A Classic Leather Legacy dressed in wild brown suede over the entire foot with perforations at the toe box. To ensure a harmonious design, the Reebok stripes, heel tab and tongue also appear in tone-on-tone. The gold tongue co-branding and brown string laces add cachet to the pair. The whole is based on a thick contrasting black midsole combined with a matching non-slip outsole.
A selection of garments reminiscent of the sporty elegance of the 90’s outdoor enthusiasts has also been developed. It includes :
A sherpa fleece sweatshirt, made from high-end Italian fabric. It appears off-white in color and features an SNS patch embroidered on the left chest. Brown elastic cuffs and hem finishes complete the design.
A white 100% cotton long sleeve t-shirt with black and burgundy SNS prints on the back and sleeves. Elastic finishes have been added at the cuffs for a comfortable fit.
A Poly Trackpant in two color options, black or brown. This garment is one of the flagship sweatpants of the 90’s. It’s made of polyester and has an elastic waistband and zippered pockets like the period models. To ensure the vintage style, we find a subtle stitching running down the leg.
To highlight this collection, SNS called upon Kazi, a multidisciplinary Californian artist who created a clay animation campaign. Kazi sculpted « Archie the Wol »” and staged it next to him in a video available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ-uAa9EiOM&feature=emb_title . The two partners are walking together in Reebok pairs from the collaboration, with the goal of visiting all SNS stores around the world, starting from the Venice Beach offices.
The SNS x Reebok « Walking » collection will be released on March 6, 2021 via a raffle on sneakersnstuff.com. The Classic Leather Legacy will also be available from March 8 on Reebok.com. Prices are set at 119€ for each pair of shoes, 89€ for the sweatshirt, 49€ for the long-sleeved t-shirt and 119€ for each pair of pants. Don’t sleep !
