Sean Wotherspoon and ADIDAS will continue the successful partnership in 2023. After their last opus in August : the triple collaborative collection with Hot Wheels, the famous American designer and the legendary German brand have reworked iconic models, the Gazelle and the Orketro.
The founder of the Round Two brand took to his Instagram account to tease the upcoming collaborative adidas pairs.
With a Sean Wotherspoon touch, the shoes sport a bold and innovative look, and construction from a variety of eco-friendly, sustainable and/or recycled materials.
Already spotted in September covered in playful illustrations (article available HERE), the Gazelle is presented by Sean Wotherspoon in 3 new colorways : off-white/sky blue, forest green/white and light pink/black/white/orange. These special versions feature multiple intricate contrast stitching on the upper, reminiscent of the special craft of embroidery. 3-Stripes on the sides in bold colors, brightly colored or intricately patterned tabs, and cork insoles ensure Sean Wotherspoon’s design.
The Orketro appears in 3 colorways. True to the Long Beach designer’s influences, the first two versions are colorful and bold, one in shades of pink with beige, black, electric blue or yellow details, and the other in a combination of different blues, yellows, black, white and green. The last variation stands out from the others with its look close to monochrome. It consists of an off-white upper with matching overlays. A single touch of green contrasting color appears on the tongue SW branding and lace aglets. These shoes have a multi-layered construction and seemingly « unfinished » finishes that showcase the unique world of Sean Wotherspoon.
