In addition to keeping us informed of the latest news, the famous German media HIGHSNOBIETY regularly presents us with interesting collabs. After having teamed up with BAPE, Dickies, New Balance or adidas (articles available on this site), David Fischer’s team offers us a capsule designed with RUF.
At the beginning, in 1939, RUF was a simple German family service station. It then evolved into a high-end car manufacturer that produced one of the fastest cars in the world.
Based in Pfaffenhausen, the company is all about wild speed, ingenuity and craftsmanship. Each car is handcrafted by artisans and, once completed, receives a unique Ruf ID and serial number.
HIGHSNOBIETY incorporates RUF’s DNA into classic streetwear pieces and eye-catching accessories.
The partners present a capsule collection based on the prestigious automaker’s signature color palette of green and yellow, combined with black and white. These co-branded items feature a look that references RUF’s craftsmanship. We find a green varsity jacket with automotive-themed patches, a coach jacket, various hoodies commemorating RUF’s heritage, sweatshirts, pants with exposed seams and workwear overalls, as well as graphic t-shirts and shorts. The capsule is complemented by accessories such as a keychain, mug, insulated bottle, caps and an exclusive TAG Heuer Carrera x Bamford x RUF x Highsnobiety watch limited to 100 pieces.
The RUF X HIGHSNOBIETY collection was released on August 10, 2022. Prices range from €15 for the keychain to €7,785 for the pre-order watch. Most pieces are still available on highsnobiety.com. Don’t sleep !
