The famous New York skate media QUARTERSNACKS sometimes offers exclusive products designed in collaboration with influential brands of the street culture, like the famous NIKE SB Dunk Low Zebra released a year ago. The latest co-release is a capsule designed with the legendary workwear brand adopted by skateboarders, CARHARTT WIP.
Since 2020, QUARTERSNACKS has had a close relationship with CARHARTT WIP to create exclusive content and products for its SOCIAL video series.
To strengthen this relationship, the 2 partners are collaborating and presenting a capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2022 inspired by the uniqueness of New York ‘mom and pop’ grocery stores. A « grocery store » motif, imagined especially for this collab, adorns a selection of classic workwear from the CARHARTT WIP brand. These garments are reminiscent of the uniforms worn by grocery store employees.
The collection includes an Artic Coat OG in work blue with a tartan collar and a green/blue plaid overshirt. These pieces feature an orange inner lining that adds flair and recalls the 80s-90s look.
The capsule also includes a blue canvas Simple Pant, a Hamilton Brown long sleeve t-shirt with a chest pocket, a short sleeve graphic t-shirt in 3 colors (black, white and orange), and a Watch Hat in blue or Hamilton Brown.
These items were designed to be both lifestyle and skatewear. They were made with durable, flexible and eco-friendly materials where possible.
The Quartersnacks x Carhartt WIP collection was released on October 6, 2022. Select pieces are still available at select retailers and skateshops, as well as online at the partners’ websites : carhartt-wip.com and quartersnacksshop.com.
