The English brand PALACE presents a new collaboration with the equipment manufacturer REEBOK. After adding the iconic PUMP technology on the Classic Leather silhouette last year (article available HERE), Lev Tanju’s label has reworked other classic Reebok pieces to offer us a complete collection.
This capsule is articulated around an NPC shoe, short for NewPort Classic, declined in 3 colorways and a range of clothing and accessories.
PALACE has revisited the popular NPC tennis shoe in a simple and refined skate style. The shoe is available in white, black or beige and is made entirely of sturdy leather for the first two versions and durable suede for the third. Elements of the OG model have been retained, such as the sponge inner lining and the low-profile outsole with grip that is perfect for skating. To affirm the collaboration, a new preppy PALACE tricolor logo is embroidered on the side panels.
This elegant and distinguished logo, designed for the occasion, can also be found on all textile pieces. The two partners have created a fleece round crewneck sweat, available in black or white and featuring the preppy PL logo in a large size on the front. A short-sleeved t-shirt is also proposed. It has a chest pocket with the same logo. To complete the look, black or white socks and caps in mustard, black or duck green-pigeon blue velvet were revealed. The preppy PALACE logo embroidered at the ankle for the socks and on the front of the cap.
The Palace x Reebok collection will be released on April 2, 2021 at 11 am GMT on palaceskateboards.com and in stores to coincide with the week 8 drop of the PALACE Spring/Summer collection.
