The famous London-based label PALACE unveils a new part of its collaboration with REEBOK. After bringing his touch to the classic NPC silhouette last April (article available HERE), Lev Tanju and his team reinterpret another retro model, the Victory G.
PALACE offers this shoe in 3 colorways : Sand /Peach-Teal Blue, Black/Fluorescent Pink-Neon and White/Pearl Grey-Navy Blue/Green.
Released in 1982, The Victory G is one of the first sneakers to feature GORE-TEX technology (hence the G behind Victory). It has a waterproof and breathable upper. This base is complemented by matching leather overlays that accentuate the robustness of the model. The iconic side stripes and heel tab are dressed in contrasting color and the branding details appear in the other minority shade. PALACE branding adorns the quarter panel and tongue tag, alongside traditional Reebok logos, and « GORE-TEX » stands out on the mudguard. To finalize the design, the whole is based on a white EVA midsole coupled with a beige, black or light grey Vibram rubber outsole depending on the version.
The Palace x Reebok Victory G collaboration is part of the London-based brand’s Spring 2022 collection and will be released on February 25, 2022 in stores and online at palaceskateboards.com. Be ready !
