The NEW BALANCE brand continues to expand its panel of collaborators. While some great projects are underway, including with renowned designer Salehe Bembury (article available HERE), the Boston-based apparel company is partnering with boutique PORT LBC for an exclusive collection.
Founded in 2011, PORT LBC is a boutique located in Long Beach, California. During these 10 years, it has stood on these three pillars : arts, community and passion for sports and athletics. This shop champions the unique and diverse nature of Long Beach, California. It offers a full range of designer clothing, vintage products and home goods in a century-old beachfront brewery atmosphere.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, PORT LBC unveils a collaborative collection with New Balance focused on retro sportswear and footwear. It consists of a fleece tracksuit, a t-shirt, shorts and a pair of NB NM22 shoes.
The textile pieces feature the same vintage and elegant off-white color palette with burgundy co-branding.
The NM22 silhouette is a limited reinterpretation of the Tempus tennis shoe. It features an off-white suede upper with a redesigned toe box and a classic soccer tongue. The look is completed with a navy blue hairy side N logo and a beige vegetable leather heel counter. An off-white sole harmoniously finishes the design.
A very limited Port x NB jersey was offered as a gift with an in-store purchase of the NB NM22 pair.
The New Balance x Port LBC collection has been available since August 28, 2021 in stores and on the portlbc.com shop site. Prices are set at 68£ for the pants or the sweatshirt, 45$ for the shorts, 34$ for the t-shirt and 110$ for the pair of shoes. Don’t sleep !
