After a triple collaboration with WIND AND SEA and adidas (article available HERE), the Japanese shop ATMOS has teamed up for the first time with the energy drink MONSTER ENERGY to promote the « Mango Loco » flavor.
To highlight the exotic taste and colorful style of the « Mango Loco » flavor, atmos and Monster Energy redesigned the classic PUMA Suedesilhouette in a special design inspired by « Day of the Dead », the Mexican national holiday commemorating the faithful departed. Koji and his team also made a hoodie and a short-sleeved t-shirt to match the sneaker.
At first glance, this exclusive PUMA Suede has a traditional look, but it’s all in the details. It consists of a black suede upper, complemented by a white side stripe and it has the legendary white sole. To affirm the design, this exclusive version is adorned with the MONSTER logo embroidered in white on the side heel and is adorned with a co-branded insole covered with a very colorful print inspired by the « Day of the Dead ». It also features brightly colored laces : « Mango Orange » and/or « Lagoon Blue » that recall the flavor of the drink and the makeup of the can respectively.
The hoodie and t-shirt also appear in black color. The special look is provided by a white ATMOS branding accompanied by red flowers on the front and a colorful skull and crossbones illustration « Mango Loco Unleash the Beast ! » on the back.
The Monster Energy x atmos collection will be released in a limited edition and only in Japan via a special raffle running from March 8-28, 2022.
