Collection Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1

During the Paris Fashion Week of June 2021, a large collection of Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 designed by the late Virgil Abloh had been presented (article available HERE). The release to the general public of these exclusive pairs had not been confirmed. Today, to the delight of sneakerheads (rather wealthy), the fashion house and the brand Swoosh announce an imminent launch !

As a reminder, following the untimely death of Virgil Abloh in November 2021, exclusive LV x AF1 had been distributed to just under 100 relatives of the famous designer during February 2022, including DJ Khaled, Sarah Andelman, Samuel Ross and LeBron James.

This was followed by a limited release via a Sotheby’s auction. The average price was $126500 per iteration, with a starting bid of $2000.

While a total of 47 variations were designed by Virgil Abloh, 9 of them will be available to the general public soon.

The capsule includes 7 AF 1 Lows : « Black », « Triple White », « Team Royal », « Comet Red », « Gym Green », « Metallic Gold » and « Olympic », and 2 AF 1 Mids « Triple White » and « Graffiti ». Made in Italy from premium materials, these pairs feature different looks and signature LV details as well as special Virgil Aboh touches. These include the famous Louis Vuitton monogram and industrial-style lettering on the side panels and laces.

The Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 collection will be released on July 19, 2022 via the fashion house’s website louisvuitton.com. Prices are set at $2000 for the Lows and $2500 for the Mids.
