In August, the American artist Frank Ocean announced the launch of his luxury brand HOMER (article available HERE). The rumor of a collaboration with the prestigious Italian brand PRADA had also surfaced. Today it’s confirmed, HOMER x PRADA exists and marks the first partnership of the label of the American musician.
Although this partnership is inaugural, Frank Ocean and PRADA have already worked together. The Italian fashion house had invited the American artist to participate in its Spring 2020 Men’s campaign. Franck Ocean has also worn PRADA to high-profile events, such as the black anorak at the Met Gala.
Particularly fond of this type of jacket, the musician introduces a reinterpreted anorak in his HOMER x PRADA collaborative collection. Composed of 3 pieces, this capsule also includes a backpack and a belt bag. All of these pieces are Italian made and feature extremely discreet co-branding : hidden inside, all in subtlety.
According to HOMER, this first collaborative opus is part of an « ongoing series ». Other pieces are expected to arrive soon…
