Iconic Italian equipment manufacturer DIADORA is preparing for the holiday season in a new way. For the first time, it has teamed up with legendary board game brand HASBRO to reimagine three of its cult silhouettes. With the help of Leo Colacicco, fashion designer and founder of the LC23 brand, the N9000, Eclipse and Intrepid have been redesigned to represent world famous Hasbro games.
The N9000 is available in 2 versions : « Monopoly » and « Trivial Pursuit ». The Eclipse silhouette pays homage to « Cluedo ? » and the Intrepid refers to « Operation ». The shoes are given a multi-colored look to match the colors of the game they represent.
The N9000 « Monopoly » combines grey, red, green, yellow and blue on materials such as suede, nubuck, leather and nylon. To affirm the inspiration, the heels are embroidered with « Monopoly » on one side and « Go » with the game’s starting arrow on the other. An off-white sole completes the design.
The N9000 « Trivial Pursuit » is made of a variety of materials including mostly suede and smooth leather. It comes in shades of blue and purple with touches of pink and yellow. The famous « pie » of the game and the name Trival Pursuit are embroidered in yellow on the heels.
The Eclipse « Cluedo? » features a construction that mixes orange nylon on the side panels with blue, grey or black suede overlays. This base is completed with purple accents at the heel and a green tongue tag. Yellow top eyelets, dark green « Cluedo? » embroidery and the « magnifying glass » pattern on the heels finalize the look.
The Intrepid « Operation » mixes suede and leather in different bright colors, such as yellow, purple, red or blue. To ensure reference to the famous game that requires concentration and attention to detail, the symbol « bone » is embroidered on the left heel and the name « OPERATION » is embroidered in red on the right heel. The whole is based on a grey-blue sole that brings the final touch.
