The retailer END. finalizes the year 2021 in style by presenting us with a new eye-catching collaborative collection. After teaming up with the legendary brand Clarks ten days ago (article available HERE), the famous British shop unveils the second part of its collaboration with the Japanese brand NEEDLES.
Named « Monarch » this new project follows the inaugural collab of 2020. It’s inspired by the butterfly of the same name. Specifically, this collection pays homage to the migratory phenomenon of North American monarch butterflies, known as « The Great Migration ». The journey to the forests of central Mexico is a marvelous spectacle of color and beauty.
With this special collection, END. and NEEDLES celebrate this natural event and highlight the symbolic ties between the Japanese brand and the butterfly. It consists of a range of high-end streetwear garments transformed with details, prints and branding that reference the monarch butterfly.
The iconic NEEDLES tracksuit is reworked. It’s presented in black with classic stripes and logo in shades of orange. To affirm the collab, END. is embroidered in black below the NEEDLES butterfly. The 2 partners also offer us the Japanese brand’s iconic mohair cardigan in black with 4 orange butterflies that mimic the migratory patterns of the monarch. Also, a bold short-sleeved shirt covered with an oversized print of a monarch wing in yellow, orange, white and black, as well as a long-sleeved black t-shirt with a funnel neck and adorned with the special logo associating the 2 brands. To complete the outfit, a bucket hat is also proposed. It’s dressed in black with orange circular stitching and the exclusive END. x NEEDLES.
