After recently working with Reebok to bring its touch to the retro silhouette of the Victory G (article available HERE), the famous London shop PALACE unveils a new iconic collaboration. Lev Tanju and his team teamed up with Bravado to honor the legendary career of British pop icon Sir Elton John !
Palace created a capsule celebrating the famous multidisciplinary musician by reimagining some of his legendary looks.
Speaking about the collab, Elton John said : « I am so excited about my upcoming collaboration with Palace! I’m always looking ahead, but the range brings back fantastic memories – it really captures the essence of youth and freedom from my time on the road in the 70s. I was never a skateboarder, but that’s not going to stop me from wearing this pieces. »
The centerpiece being his signature velvet tracksuit set branded « EJ ». It proposes to us in white/burgandy or navy/white and is adorned with a glittery Palace Tri-Fergs logo.
The collection also includes a black sweater with an oversized white illustration of Elton John’s face, long and short sleeve T-shirts featuring iconic photos of the musician during his career, including the 1975 concert at Dodger Stadium.
The London-based shop also designed a carpet and skateboard featuring a photo of Elton John as a baseball player with PALACE branding on his outfit.
The Elton John x Palace collection will be released on Friday, March 11, 2022, in PALACE stores in London, New York and Los Angeles, and online at palaceskateboards.com. Be ready !
