The legendary brand Carhartt WIP unveils a new collaboration particularly interesting. After participating in the 15-year celebration of the shop BODEGA (article dispo HERE), the workwear print is teaming up for the 8th time with fashion label WARDROBE.NYC for a monochrome collection.
The luxury concept founded by Josh Goot and Christine Centenera in 2017, WARDROBE.NYC is a concise and cohesive wardrobe solution for everyday dressing.
With CARHARTT WIP, WARDROBE.NYC delicately dives into workwear.The two partners offer us a collection representing the fusion of luxury and workwear on essential pieces. This RELEASE 08 is both utilitarian and elegant. It includes a range of silhouettes reimagined through the minimalist eyes of WARDROBE.NYC.
Josh Goot explains, « We recognized a similarity between these two brands that create garments that serve as working tools and blank canvas. There is a synergy between WARDROBE.NYC and Carhartt WIP that allows the wearer’s own style to accentuate each garment, based on these clean, functional designs. »
The exclusive collection consists of signature pieces made from Carhartt WIP’s signature Dearborn canvas, including the parka, pants and overalls. Also featured is a new reversible quilted bomber designed using the material, as well as leggings that merge Technical Stretch and utility-style pockets into a durable Dearborn canvas. Rounding out the outfit are other WIP items: the Shirt Jacket, the Skirt in 2 length options and the Croq Top. All of these pieces are presented in signature black WARDROBE.NYC and are adorned with all-black woven labels.
The Carhartt WIP x WARDROBE.NYC “RELEASE 08” Collection was released on December 14, 2021 and is offered to us in 2 different ways on wardrobe.nyc: a 4-piece or 8-piece women’s wardrobe. The first option is priced at 1500€ (1250$) and includes the WIP Parka, WIP Shirt Jacket, WIP Legging and WIP Crop T-Shirt. The second option at 3300€ (2750$) consists of the 4-piece wardrobe mentioned above, plus the WIP Bomber, WIP Boiler, WIP Pant and the WIP Skirt in Mid or Mini length. The items can also be purchased individually.
