The BODEGA shop continues to celebrate its 15 years of existence with eye-catching collaborations. Following up on a BODEGA x NB 574 duo teased last month (article available HERE), a capsule collection with legendary brand Carhartt WIP is presented today.
This collaboration pays homage to BODEGA’s past and present by celebrating the relationships the team has created with other merchants over the last 15 years. Rooted in both functionality and community, the capsule exudes a unique « grocery store » atmosphere that is the core concept of BODEGA.
It’s built around 8 of the workwear brand’s signature pieces reinterpreted with a BODEGA twist. Each item was designed with the idea of a work uniform in mind, incorporating unique details such as reimagined utility pockets and internal branding labels. We discover a two-tone Michigan Coat/Double Knee Pant set in brown and olive, 3 t-shirts decorated with vegetable and fruit prints, a black quilted sleeveless jacket with « fruit » embroidery on the back and an apron reminiscent of the greengrocers. To complete the market trader’s outfit, the collection also includes a two-tone beanie and a velvet cap. Always inspired and creative, the BODEGA shop has reworked the famous Carhartt WIP C logo into an apple. The items in this capsule are adorned with this famous exclusive logo and co-branding.
BODEGA invited their neighbors and friends from the Reyna Fruits booth to showcase the items of the collection. This multi-generational family business exemplifies the spirit of hard work, effort and community orientation. It provides essential work that is sometimes not recognized enough.
The BODEGA x Carhartt WIP capsule collection will be released on December 10, 2021 in BODEGA stores in Boston and Los Angeles, as well as in the Carhartt WIP shop in New York. It will also be available online at bdgstore.com and select pieces can be ordered at us.carhartt-wip.com.
