Known for being one of the most sought-after streetwear retailers, FOOTPATROL also regularly works with big brands to bring us exclusive collabs. For its new project, the London-based shop has teamed up with Bene Culture, the eclectic Birmingham-based fashion label.
Founded in 2016, Bene Culture was originally a vintage store that later became a multi-brand retailer and subcultural fashion brand. The label also provides a platform for its community, culture and designers through inclusive collections and events celebrating music, fashion, art and food. In a responsible approach, Bene Culture’s pieces are produced locally, close to the brand’s headquarters.
Sharing the same desire to inspire rather than imitate, Footpatrol and Bene Culture present a collaborative collection that references space. This line is a nod to the designers, Anna Mills and Stewart Armstrong, who have worked with a long catalog of brands, such as Forgeron, Axel Arigato, Eytys…
The capsule consists of t-shirts, a hoodie and a special beanie.
The t-shirts are made of plush cotton and have a space-themed graphic (yellow or green/purple) printed on the front and back. 3 versions are proposed, includint 2 black « Explore », « Celestial » and one white « Reflections ».
The black hoodie is made from a mix of cotton and recycled polyester. It features blue lettering on the front « EXPLORE TOGETHER ».
The black plush knit beanie is embellished with the 2 brands’ fuchsia pink initials, « BC » for Bene Culture and « FT » for Footpatrol.
The Bene Culture x Footpatrol collection will be released on April 30, 2022 at 8:00 am BST via the Footpatrol Launches app on a first come, first served basis. Prices range from $31 (£25) to $81 (£65).
