After working with adidas, Clarks, Salomon or Reebok earlier this year (articles available on this website), BEAMS will start the year 2022 by offering us a new interesting collab. The famous Japanese retailer has partnered for the 3rd time with the legendary brand LEVI’S.
Named « Super Wide », this collaborative collection is based on the most iconic pieces of the denim giant : the Type 1 trucker jacket « lot 506 » and the classic straight jeans with button fly, the 501. This set is presented in 2 colorways : in a vintage-inspired faded blue for the general release and raw blue for the exclusive BEAMS version. A white co-branded tee completes the outfit.
BEAMS redesigned these signature Levi’s items to give them a looser, more comfortable fit for a modern oversized look. This « expanded » style was also applied to other elements of the garments, such as the pockets and button fly as well as the back branding patch. To affirm the collab, BEAMS adds its name in orange on this iconic Levi’s leather label.
The BEAMS x Levi’s « Super Wide » collection will be released on January 2, 2022 in Japan in stores and on the brand’s website beams.co.jp. It will then arrive in other parts of the world on January 6, 2022, at select retailers and on levi.com.
