Last summer, the famous Japanese retailer BEAMS and its compatriot ASICS unveiled a special collaborative GEL-Kayano 14 G-TX (article available HERE). The shoe, which appears to be covered in a mosquito net, was released a few days ago in Japan along with an apparel collection.
Just like the revisited running sneaker, the items of this collaborative capsule are presented in black color and sport a minimalist design.
In addition to the exclusive GEL-Kayano 14, the collection includes a matching pullover jacket, pants and bucket hat.
These pieces combine high functionality with an eye-catching modern look.
They are all equipped with GORE-TEX material that ensures waterproofing and breathability. To make a delicate statement, the ASICS logo is applied in tone-on-tone, while the GORE-TEX branding appears in contrasting bright yellow and oversized. BEAMS brought out the old GORE-TEX logo, that is no longer used on current collections, to confirm the special look of these garments.
The BEAMS x ASICS collection was launched on October 1, 2022 in Japan, in stores and online at beams.co.jp. A wider release is planned for October 28, 2022. The jacket is priced at $225 (¥32,780), the pants at $202 (¥29,480) and the bucket hat at $59 (¥8,580). Be ready !
