The high-end streetwear brand BBC ICECREAM, co-founded by the multidisciplinary artist Pharrell Williams, is once again partnering with the famous equipment manufacturer Reebok. This new collaboration is based on Allen Iverson’s signature shoe, the Question, in Low format and available in 3 colorways. Paying homage to a classic ICE CREAM pattern, the Question Low is called « Running Dog ».
The design honors the shared roots of Pharrell Williams and basketball player Allen Iverson in Virginia. These 3 iterations are adorned with a combination of classic BBC ICECREAM gourmet colors and bright colors from the world of Reebok basketball.
They consist of a pastel yellow upper, with overlays of high quality suede in different colors depending on the version : purple/purple, purple/green or pink/red. The 3 colorways keep in common yellow laces eyelets and a TPU branding patch on the pale yellow tongue. A « Running Dog » logo is embroidered on the side panels in place of the iconic Reebok Vector. Two sets of laces in different colors per pair and a « Running Dog » print on the insoles complete the design. The whole is based on a white midsole with a tone-on-tone DMX damping system, combined with a yellow translucent outsole.
To finalize the project, each pair will be delivered in a special colored box decorated in the style of vintage ice cream boxes.
The BBC ICECREAM x Reebok Question Lows « Running Dog » collection will have a different release depending on the colorway. The « Yellow/Purple/Green » pair will be available exclusively in Europe and the United States. The « Yellow/Red/Pink » iteration will be launched in Asia-Pacific region only. The « Yellow/Purple/Purple » version will be available worldwide. This pack will be released exclusively on the BBCICECREAM.COM website on November 6 before a wider distribution to selected Reebok resellers on November 12, 2020. The recommended retail price for each pair is 130€. Be ready !
