The fruitful partnership between BAPE and New Balance continues. After bringing its streetwear touch on the 2002R silhouette almost a year ago (article available HERE), the famous Japanese brand remodels the 57/40.
According to the first images released, this BAPE x NB 57/40 is declined in 2 colorways.
One timeless grey/black/white with reflective accents and the other more daring combining blue, purple, orange, pink, yellow, white and black.
Regarding the composition, both feature an upper combining mesh, leather and suede. The famous N logo on the side appears covered with the signature BAPE camo print and the shark pattern surrounds the upper heel. To affirm the collab, the tongue tag and insole feature the co-branding and « A BATHING APE » and the Ape head logo adorn the side heel. The whole is based on a thick white midsole with a wavy black heel clip, as well as a black rubber outsole.
