After teaming up with adidas on an UltraBoost « Attack on Titan » last month (article available HERE), the famous retailer BAIT unveils a new collaboration with REEBOK based on another manga/animation series : Astro Boy.
This collection includes 2 revisited silhouettes, the InstaPump Fury and the Club C Stomper. Combining the world of sports and manga, these pairs are adorned with a bold new look.
The InstaPump Fury consists of a black patent leather upper covered in technical graphics referencing the inner workings of Astro Boy. To complete the design, the pair is adorned with glow-in-the-dark details, red accents, a green heel tab and white BAIT branding at the heel. A white midsole and red outsole finish off the look.
The Club C Stomper is a modified version of the legendary Club C with an Alien Stomper Velcro system above the tongue. This collaborative iteration comes in white and blue. It features a white leather base with blue graphics of the famous little robot drawn on a grid. The insole features the Reebok x BAIT co-branding and the strap features Japanese lettering. An all-white sole adds the finishing touch to the design.
The pairs will be delivered in specially designed boxes to honor the collab’s design.
The BAIT x Astro Boy x Reebok collection will be released on May 21, 2022 at select retailers and on reebok.com. Prices are set at $200 for the InstaPump Fury and $160 for the Club C Stomper.
