After bringing its touch to the Nike LeBron 18 Low silhouette (article available HERE), the famous Japanese shop ATMOS has partnered with the Californian lifestyle brand REEF inspired by the surf culture. A collaborative collection ideal for the summer is presented to us today.
This capsule is based around the emblematic « FANNING Low » sandal and a line of short sleeve t-shirts.
The « FANNING Low » is the signature model of REEF ambassador and three-time world surfing champion, the Australian Mick Fanning. This popular flip-flop is both super comfortable and fun. For this collaboration, it was also equipped with an unexpected but practical, even essential tool during the summer season : a custom bottle opener, ergonomically added under the outsole.
The sandal comes in 5 colorways : black, blue, water green, yellow and red. These distinctive colors are found on the foot straps and the MISS REEF logo under the heel. All versions feature a black upper sole with a high-tech, transparent, airbagged outsole with playful prints of REEF on one foot and Atmos on the other.
The various summer beach photo prints also adorn the collaborative “REEF PHOTO TEE” shirts. In order to ensure the best matchings, 6 versions are proposed to us : 3 white and 3 black, with for each one a different print on the chest.
The atmos x REEF collection will be released in limited edition on April 27, 2021, in most ATMOS stores and on atmos-tokyo.com. The flip flops will be priced at 90$ per color and the t-shirts will cost 45$ each.
