Coco Gauff x New Balance 327

The New Balance brand continues to invite public figures to bring their touch to the fashionable silhouette, the NB 327. Recently, New York designer Todd Snyder was inspired by the products on the market to reinterpret this sneaker (article available HERE). Now it’s the turn of 17 year old tennis star Cori « Coco » Gauff to give it a makeover.

Coco is no ordinary tenniswoman. She is the youngest American to reach a Grand Slam quarterfinal since Venus Williams at the 1997 U.S. Open. For the design of her special NB 327, the tenniswoman wanted to move away from the classic colors by transposing her love for bright colors and translucency.

Her exclusive version refers to the style of her usual outfits. It’s dressed in different colors on each side of the foot : white and bright red with gold chain prints. This base is complemented by white overlays with New Balance branding in yellow on the side heel counter. The iconic midsole and waffle outsole appear in white to both unify the look and showcase the famous glossy neon pink side N. To ensure the design, the tongue label is adorned in orange-yellow and the insole in fuchsia pink, with the young and talented sportswoman’s white signature.

The Coco Gauff x New Balance 327 is released on August 26, 2021, at select retailers and on newbalance.com, priced at 100$, in men’s and women’s sizes.
