In March, images of the triple collaboration CLOT x SACAI x Nike LDWaffle under construction had appeared on social networks (article available HERE). Today this pair is presented to us in details.
This shoe is dressed in the same color scheme as the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 « Kiss of Death » originally released in 2006 and re-released in early March this year.
Sporting SACAI’s signature double-layered design, the sneaker features an upper combining semi-translucent material and beige suede overlays. This base is complemented by orange and burgundy elements, especially on lined details such as the Swoosh and tongue. For an extra touch of color, the laceguard outline, tongue labels and triple branding on the heel come in light green (only the CLOT logo retains its signature burgundy red color). To top it all off and make a statement, the double midsole appears in orange and burgundy. The whole is based on a gum waffle outsole that brings the final touch.
