While the rumored summer release of the highly anticipated CLOT x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle (article available HERE), the Hong Kong-based fashion label reunites with longtime partner CONVERSE. This new project is based on the timeless Chuck 70 silhouette and is inspired by one of their first collabs.
This drop project refers to the CLOT x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Low « Handshake » from 2011. This time again, 2 versions are proposed to us : a Chuck 70 ox and a Hi.
These shoes take the simple and effective style of the collab previously mentioned, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. They have a white canvas upper for the Hi model and gray for the Ox, with CLOT’s signature Silk Royale design embossed on the tongue tag, affixed as a pattern on the red or grey laces depending on the version, and decorates the insole. To complete the look, we find the gum rubber stripe that wraps around the white midsole on the forefoot. The CLOT logo at the heel adds the finishing touch.
The CLOT x Converse Chuck 70 Ox & Hi will be released on June 18, 2021 at select retailers worldwide, priced at 95$ and 100$.
