In 2021, the American designer Ronnie Fieg joined forces with the English brand Clarks to offer a collection of two new silhouettes combining the craftsmanship of Clarks and the expertise of Ronnie Fieg in the world of footwear. The Lockhill and Sandford were an immediate commercial success.
Today, the Sandford is back with two new colorways, I suggest you discover the « off-white » on my feet.
Reappearing in the 8th St collection, the Sandford lifestyle sneaker is named after the very first Clarks warehouse in London and pays homage to its roots in the fashion capital of the world with its avant-garde design.
The pair features a suede upper mixed with premium perforated suede. There is an embroidered logo on the tongue, an embossed logo on the outer side, a logo stamp on the heel collar. The whole is based on a crepe sole.
I find this pair between sneaker and shoe of beauty on the feet. Its simple but racy design make it a sure value of the brand. The materials and finishes are, as I said above, of superior quality. For me, this is a real « Must Have » for the summer.
