CLAE X LE BON MARCHE “DREAM”

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The Los Angeles-based American brand CLAE has teamed up with the Parisian department store LE BON MARCHE RIVE GAUCHE to present us a collaborative collection named « Dream ». It’s on the silhouettes of the new Malone and the iconic Bradley that the designers decided to express themselves.

 The Clae brand pays meticulous attention to the quality of the materials, the workmanship and the comfort of its products, while minimizing its ecological footprint. It offers sneakers with clean lines, a minimalist and timeless look with innovative details.

 The two models unveiled today are handmade and are made of Italian Nappa leather from a certified tannery. They present a minimalist and elegant design, with touches of pastel colours reminiscent of Californian fashion.

 The Clae brand logo has been modified especially for this collaboration based on the allegory of the dream catch. We discover a dream catcher revisited with a Californian touch, it takes on the appearance of a basketball basket with a pastel-coloured ball in its net. This interpretation is a nod to the famous Venice Beach basketball court and the colours associated with the City of Angels.

The Malone is made of white leather, perforated on the toe box and smooth on the rest of the upper. A black leather insert, with the Clae brand name in white, covers the heel tab. For more comfort and heel support, a black leather reinforcement is also found on the inside of the shoe. The new logo is placed on the white leather tongue. To accentuate the elegance and simplicity of the model, the laces are white with black aglets. The insole has branding details and a pastel blue print. The midsole is off-white combined with a two-tone outsole in pastel yellow and turquoise.

The Bradley has a smooth white leather upper. The black leather heel tab is identical to that of the Malone, only it has no reinforcement on the inside of the shoe. Other similarities are that the new logo appears on the tongue, the laces are white with black aglets and the insole has the same inscriptions as on the Malone. To add a touch of contrast, the laceguard is covered in light grey suede. The whole is based on an entirely off-white sole.

 The Malone and Bradley « DREAM » sneakers from the CLAE x LE BON MARCHE Collaboration are limited to 100 pairs and will be available on 25 May 2020 exclusively in the Parisian store Au bon Marché Rive Gauche and on the Californian brand’s website www.clae.eu.

 The price for the Malone is 149€ and for the Bradley 139€.

 Two accessories are added to this collection : an organic cotton t-shirt with the big « DREAM » logo printed on the chest, at the price of 39€.
