At the end of August 2020, CIVILIST released a futuristic collab with Nike based on the SB Dunk Low silhouette. After this audacious pair inspired by thermography, the Berlin skate shop unveils its ultra chic project with the iconic Californian brand VANS.
Exit the innovative technologies and special materials seen on the collab with the Swoosh brand. CIVILIST has reinvented the famous VANS Half Cab skate with a stylish look.
The reimagined shoe appears mostly in black. The design is inspired by the winter nights of Berlin.
It consists of a nylon upper with a kind of Civilist monogram in a slightly darker shade. This base is complemented by black suede overlays with tone-on-tone stitching. The pair also features black tongue branding and CB initials emblazoned under the ankle. To add a touch of contast, the traditional laces have been replaced with round, two-tone midnight blue/yellow hiking laces tightened with a lace block. A small reminder of the midnight blue color evoking the blue winter sky can be seen on the thin side strip of the black sole.
The CIVILIST x VANS Skate Half Cab will be released exclusively in stores on February 25, 2023 before an online launch at skate shop civilistberlin.com a day later on February 26, 2023. Be ready !
