[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The young fashion Parisian brand that has become a must have : CASABLANCA, had unveiled for the first time, during the Fashion Week 2020 in Paris, its collaboration with the Americans from New Balance.
This first project, part of the “tennis club” collection, is based on the silhouette of the NB 327. A retro running shoe from the 70’s, brought up to date and adorned with premium quality materials.
Combining sport and luxury, the Casablanca founder describes his “Idéaliste” project on the New Balance 327 as “a cool Italian grandfather’s shoe”.
A little report on the Casablanca brand created in 2018.
Its founder is the Franco-Moroccan creator, designer and artistic director Charaf Tajer, already well established in the fashion world. He is the co-founder of the Parisian brand “Pigalle”, appreciated by celebrities such as Rihanna or the late Kobe Bryant, and has collaborated with big names like Virgil Abloh, to name but a few. With Casablanca, Charaf continues and fully expresses his idea of the fashion and luxury he holds dear : making them more accessible and combining comfort and elegance. He adds his heritage to his creations by offering us neat, colourful and luminous items.
Recognized for his work, Charaf has been nominated among the eight finalists for the LVMH 2020 Award, whose ceremony will take place on June 5.
This pack NB 327 x CASABLANCA “Idéaliste” is now available in two colorways : white/green and white/orange/green.
The colorways are in the emblematic shades of the Parisian brand. The color orange luminous, in reference to the tasty oranges of Morocco, as well as the white and green clean colours that remind us of tennis courts and tennis outfits.
Both pairs feature a perforated leather upper and a green or orange suede overlay, depending on the model. The quarter panel is covered with an imposing N (white or orange), New Balance branding, whose contours are in green leather on both pairs.
Both also are based on an elegant white midsole and a green studded outsole, which rises to the heel.
We find the usual branding touches of the two brands on the outside of the tongue and the inscription “Idéaliste” on the inside.
This top of the range collaboration in summer colours “Pack New Balance 327 x CASABLANCA Idéaliste” will be available online at selected retailers on Saturday, April 4, 2020.
The price, for each pair, would be set at 150€.
