As predicted in September 2020 (article available HERE), the luxury brand of the parisian designer Charaf Tajer CASABLANCA materializes a new collaboration with the label NEW BALANCE. The two partners offer us a third version of the now popular 327 silhouette and a new 237, each in 2 colorways.
Contrary to the NB 327 previously reworked, this new iteration and the 237 silhouette is adorned with a meticulous traditional Moroccan monogram pattern, usually applied on textile pieces.
The first duo of NB 327 & 237 consists of a perforated premium white leather upper with overlays of traditional Moroccan patterns in pink and apple green color on the mudguard, heel, and on the tongue laces loop. To complete the design, the emblematic side N logo appears in off-white with a pale pink outline and the laceguard is dressed in bleached grey suede. A white and pale pink midsole combined with a bold apple green embossed outsole complete the look.
The second duo of NB 327 & 237 also features a perforated premium white leather base, embellished with the same traditional Moroccan pattern in the overlays and tongue loop, but here in burgundy and fir green. The side N logo completes the design with its burgundy color and fir green contours. A white interior lining and off-white accents on the suede laceguard and tongue loop ensure the look. The whole is based on a white and off-white midsole combined with a fir-green embossed outsole.
The first Casablanca x New Balance 327 & 237 duo in white and pale pink/apple green was released exclusively in the United States on December 30, 2020 at Slam Jam and is expected to arrive very soon in Europe at hyper selected retailers.
The second duo in white and burgundy/fir green will also be available during the first months of this new year 2021, for a price of around 130€. More details coming soon, stay tuned !
