Designer artist Carlton YAITO just teased on his Instagram account a collaboration with the brand PUMA. The designer known for his unique use of fabric on jackets and handbags, has reimagined the cult Puma Suede silhouette.
The shoe features an elegant look that is slightly mismatched and meticulously bold. It combines inserts in different colors, most of which feature the cult Paisley print. Specifically, the toe box appears in solid red on both feet and the panels are covered in mustard yellow, black, blue or green fabrics and are adorned with the legendary bandana pattern. The suede tongue is reworked to be embellished with a gold PUMA monogram and a large co-branded beige suede tag. To add a touch of skateshoe style, the classic laces are replaced with an oversized white version. The iconic PUMA side stripe appears in cream suede, the classic gold PUMA Suede branding is retained on the side and the insole is adorned with the co-branding. The whole is based on a traditional all-white sole that finalizes the design.
The pair will be delivered in a specially designed co-branded box.
The Carlton Yaito x Puma Suede could be released soon. We’re keeping a close eye on Carlton Yaito and his team’s social media channels to bring you the latest official details, so stay tuned !
