In addition to its high-end sandals and accessories collections, SUICOKE unveils a new eye-catching collaboration. After teaming up with fashion houses like Lanvin or the Italian label Marsèll (article available HERE), the Japanese brand is working for the 1st time with workwear giant CARHARTT WIP.
The legendary American brand has brought its signature style to two of SUICOKE’s flagship models : the MOTO and DEPA sandals.
In terms of construction and design, the MOTO is a high-end strappy flip-flop, while the DEPA is a secure sandal, with a strap over the heel that closes at the ankle and over the toes to keep the foot secure.
These new shoes have a similar look. They are available in 2 colorways : classic black/white or in the iconic « Hamilton Brown » and inspired by the Detroit jacket by Carhartt WIP.
The « Hamilton Brown » iterations were molded in a combination of brown Dearborn canvas and chocolate corduroy upper, with Carhartt-branded nylon Velcro straps and white and black SUICOKE tag. To finish off the look, they get an antibacterial EVA footbed in brown and a lighter shade of caramel on the sole.
Made with similar materials, the black/white versions have a simple, timeless aesthetic. All elements are presented in black with the brandings applied in white.
The Carhartt WIP x Suicoke MOTO & DEPA will be released on July 15, 2022 at CARHARTT WIP stores, select retailers, and online at us.carhartt-wip.com and suicoke.com. Prices are set at $220 for the MOTO and $200 for the DEPA. Don’t sleep !
