Following the success of their previous joint projects, the Parisian restaurant PAPERBOY and the Japanese label BEAMS unveil a new collaboration. After joining forces with Reebok (article available HERE), the 2 partners team up with NEW BALANCE to revisit 2 cult silhouettes, the 1500 and the 920.
This collaborative triple capsule is part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of New Balance production in the UK, based in Flimby.
Made in the UK, these special high-end NB 1500 and 920 have a similar look, both in hues and materials. However, the color blocking is different. They feature a base combining mesh and suede in shades of grey, with touches of sky blue and white. To complete the chic and timeless style of these pairs, we find the famous New Balance Made in UK branding on the tongue, the emblematic side N logo and the PAPERBOY x BEAMS co-branding on the heels and insoles.
This sneaker duo will be released with collaborative textile pieces such as crewneck and fleece shorts in grey colorway.
The Paperboy x Beams x New Balance 1500 & 920 capsule will launch on June 21, 2022. As of now, release details have not been released. Stay tuned so you don’t miss anything !
