The famous American brand Carhartt WIP presents us new items as part of its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. After unveiling a capsule of camping furniture designed with Korean label HELINOX (article available HERE), Carhartt WIP uses the iconic GORE-TEX INFINIUM technology to reimagine classic pieces.
This capsule includes two iconic jacket styles : the Active Jacket and the classic 4-pocket parka, as well as a five-panel cap. All three pieces are available in 2 colorways : black or olive green « moor ».
The fabric used for these items has been replaced by GORE-TEX INFINIUM, a breathable fabric that offers protection against wind, rain and snow. This material emphasizes performance and comfort over waterproofness. Still resistant to a certain level of water, GORE-TEX INFINIUM products are fully windproof, ultra-breathable for optimal comfort.
The jackets feature 3M reflective details, such as the stripe on each sleeve, the Carhartt WIP logo on the front left pocket and the GORE-TEX INFINIUM lettering on the back. For comfort and attention to detail, these outdoor pieces feature taped seams and two-way waterproof zippers.
The cap matches the jackets and is made of GORE-TEX INFINIUM with the same 3M reflective branding details.
