The adidas Forum Low, one of the most popular silhouettes of the moment, continues to serve as the basis for various collaborations. After recently inviting famous shops and artists to reinterpret this popular silhouette (several articles available on this site), adidas is now inviting top athlete Candace Parker to create her own version.
Through this collaboration, the German brand continues its celebration of female athletes.
Candace Parker is the lady of the moment. The professional basketball player has just won the WNBA championship with her Chicago Sky team, her second title. She has been honoured on several occasions this year, notably thanks to the official « Candace Parker Day » of the city of Chicago and to some special projects with the equipment manufacturer adidas. With this Forum Low, the sportswoman was able to let her creativity run free.
The shoe appears in black and is made from premium leather. The shoe features a grey smoky pattern on the toe. Between the black 3-Stripes and the heel, this print is complemented by gold accents. The gold colour is also found on the long heel clip and on the Velcro strap branding replaced by « Right Foot » and « Left Foot ». To complete the design, the pair benefits from engraved gold metallic dubraes and a graphic insole. The whole is based on a white midsole coupled with a black outsole.
The Candace Parker x adidas Forum Low will be released on November 1, 2021 at select retailers and on adidas.com for 100$.
