Last August, the famous artists collective BRAIN DEAD offered us a revisited Club C. After working with brands like Sergio Tacchini, Vans or Dickies, Kyle Ng and his team are back with the legendary British manufacturer REEBOK to bring his touch on another cult model, the Shaqnosis.
This shoe, designed in 1995 with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, is presented to us today in a bold look from the Brain Dead universe.
It consists of a sandy beige suede base, enhanced by the iconic swirl pattern in Brain Dead signature forest green hairy suede. To ensure the look, the black laces are also presented in shaggy material. In terms of branding details, Reebok’s Vector is embroidered in lime at the center of the quarter panel and the Brain Dead head logo adorns the top of the toe box. The mesh tongue also features the Reebok branding in embroidery, this time in white. A co-branded graphic insole, beige heel pull, light blue TPU upper eyelets and light grey mesh inner heel reinforcement complete the look. The whole is based on a black/forest green wavy design sole with light blue logos and benefiting from DMX cushioning.
The Brain Dead x Reebok Shaqnosis will be released on November 29, 2022 in stores and online at wearebraindead.com, as well as at select retailers like END. via raffles. Let’s go !
