The BODEGA shop continues its momentum of eye-catching collaborations. After ending 2022 by partnering with New Balance, the famous Boston-based store is reuniting with SAUCONY in early 2023, bringing its unique touch to the retro 3D Grid Hurricane silhouette.
Longtime partners, BODEGA and SAUCONY last teamed up in April 2020 with an exclusive Grid Azura 2000.
For this new release, the Boston-based store is offering an exclusive version of the 1997 shoe model re-released last summer. This silhouette appears colorful and adorned with special patterns. The BODEGA team explain : “this collaborative pair takes the sneaker game back to a time when color, texture and silhouette was all the contexte you needed”.
The 3D Grid Hurricane collaborative consists of an upper combining white mesh on the toe box, with dark green suede on the toe box, brown leather at the eyelet area. We find an elegant white/grey metallic-style weave pattern under the ankle, as well as green or dark brown trim on the sides of the foot. To complete the bold yet polished look, the sneaker is adorned with the iconic Saucony logo on the side in an iridescent purple hue and is finished with a lime colored inner lining and insole. The collab is affirmed by co-branding on the tongue and insole. The whole is based on a white midsole with a green heel unit striped with yellow and a gum outsole with blue accents.
The Bodega x Saucony 3D Grid Hurricane will be released on January 21, 2023, at BODEGA stores in Boston and Los Angeles on the basis of ‘first comes, first served’, as well as online at bdgastore.com. Be ready !
