A few days after discovering the first colorway « Sail » of the duo Bodega x Nike Dunk High (article available HERE), the version « Fauna Brown » is presented to us today. The famous Boston boutique and the Swoosh brand were inspired by one of the most popular sports in the United States, baseball, to design this collaboration.
Like the « Sail » version, this iteration features an upper combining high quality textured leather and premium suede, in a brown color gradient and with a touch of beige on the toe box and heel. The brown « baseball glove » side panels feature the Swoosh in the form of a jewel with a mottled tortoiseshell print. The medial panels appear to be decorated with the Bodega brand in a rustic way, adding cachet to the pair. To affirm the design and add authenticity, numerous baseball-inspired visible seams appear on the collar and heel, and lace knots are scattered throughout the shoe. A black leather tongue with a red branding label and black laces complete the look. The whole is based on a white midsole and a dark brown outsole matching with the color of the mudguard.
