BESPOKEIND Nike SB Dunk Low Pro

The Australian shoemaker artists of BESPOKEIND unveil a new project that, as usual, turns out to be hyper worked and hyper qualitative. The Nike SB Dunk silhouette has once again been reinvented. After a « Dunkmania » iteration presented in early May (article available HERE), Damian J Sim pays homage to the Fragment design x Dunk High « Beijing City » with this SB Dunk Low Pro “S⚡️B”.

This sneaker appears as a luxurious, handcrafted version of the Nike Dunk High by the famous Japanese designer Hiroshi Fijiwara, nicknamed the « Godfather of Streetwear ». It appears in a color scheme that references Fragment Design’s preferred hues of bold blue and dark grey/blue, with a touch of white in the midsole. This color scheme and layout on the shoe can also be seen as a nod to the Fragment Design x Sacai x LDWaffle triple collab.

The SB Dunk Low Pro is hand-wrapped in tumbled deerskin and consists of a pig suede upper with sharkskin Swooshes. It also features Japanese calf suede, a lambskin tongue and a velvet inner lining. Fragment’s « lightning bolt » logo is crafted in Kangaroo and adorns the side heel. At the tongue branding, a label with engraved “S⚡️B” is added. The whole is based on a contrasting white midsole and a dark blue-grey outsole.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “S⚡️B” by BESPOKEIND will be released on June 20, 2021 on bespokeind.com.au at 12pm AEST (June 19, 2021 10:00pm New York time). It’s limited to 8 pairs, made to order and handcrafted in Melbourne. The price is set at 2207$ (2900 AUD).
