The fashion world is enriched by a new high-end lifestyle brand : BEAUTIFULLY SAID. Thierry Tek, aka @t.mcfly on Instagram, its founder and creative director, presents his very first collection inspired by his 2 passions, fashion and martial arts.
Born and raised in Paris, Thierry Tek has been making a name for himself in the creative world for nearly 10 years. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the fashion and sportswear industry.
The young designer has also discovered a passion for martial arts, mainly Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which he has been practicing since 2018 and 2019 respectively. Thierry Tek underlines that these fighters too often perceived as « brutes », « violent » people, welcomed him in a warm way. He discovered a community composed of the most respectful, disciplined and loving people, to whom he wishes to pay tribute.
Thierry Tek explains that his brand BEAUTIFULLY SAID is a « love letter to fashion and martial arts ». It evokes love and romance, and promotes ‘self-love’ and ‘inner beauty’. Its main message : « It’s what you are inside that counts » is symbolized by the ‘beautiful Inside’ graphic adorning several pieces of this very first collection.
These clothes are intended for fighters but also for all those who want to feel good in their skin, to feel confident.
BEAUTIFULLY SAID also wants to change the behavior of consumers regarding their relationship with their clothes. These pieces should be loved and cared for. The messages « tell me you love me » and « show me you care » can be found on the branding and care labels respectively.
BEAUTIFULLY SAID’s One collection includes 10 items inspired by Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
The collection includes a hoodie in black or grey and a black or white short-sleeved t-shirt with the words ‘beautiful Inside’, as well as Muay Thai ‘Beauty/Beast’ shorts and slit kickboxing pants in the same colors as the hoodie. To complete the collection, a taupe jiu jitsu cardigan and matching sweatpants are also offered.
These pieces are made of 100% cotton in Portugal (or Bangladesh for the t-shirt), and some of them feature the brand’s ‘pink’ logo, either as a print or as an elegant embroidery.
To give life to the clothes of this collection, Thierry Tek invited 4 professional Muay Thai fighters and close friends to appear on the visuals of the official campaign : Amro GHANEM – English Champion, British MTGP Champion, and ranked number 5 in the United Kingdom (63.5 kg), Carlton LIEU – European Champion ISKA and World Champion MTGP, Federico LOI – Italian Champion WBC, Georges-Remy SALOMON – French Champion and former number 9 of the Lumpinee.
